Letoile Becquerel

Letoile is calm, practical, and comparatively understated among the Golden Dawn. She reacts to danger by focusing on how her magic can support surrounding allies rather than trying to dominate every engagement herself.

She is not overly formal about rank. When Yuno later becomes vice-captain, Letoile treats the change with less awkwardness than Klaus and does not dramatically alter the way she speaks to him.

Her composure is tested during the Spade Kingdom attack, where she recognizes the severe gap between the Golden Dawn's recent training and the Stage Zero enemies confronting them. Even while acknowledging that disadvantage, she continues looking for a workable tactical opening.

Letoile uses Compass Magic, creating magical compass needles and fields that manipulate direction.

Another Atlas creates a large compass field that disrupts mana within its area. Opposing spells lose stability, disperse, or become difficult to control while Letoile's own magic remains unaffected.

Useless North allows her compass to track a true target despite feints or decoys, while Willful Compass can redirect incoming magical attacks away from her.

As a noble, she possesses a large mana reserve. After being freed from elf possession, Letoile retains some of the increased magical power associated with her elven host.

Letoile becomes prominent during the Elf Reincarnation crisis. Her body serves as the vessel of the elf Kivn, whose amplified Compass Magic creates an exceptionally powerful version of Another Atlas inside Clover Castle.

After the reincarnation spell is undone, Letoile returns to the Golden Dawn and spends the following six months training to make better use of the magical power that remained after possession.

When the Spade Kingdom attacks Golden Dawn headquarters, Foyal Migusteau's Mist Magic traps Letoile and several squadmates. Another Atlas provides her with a defensive refuge, but the mist prevents her from locating the true enemy.

Yuno disperses the mist, giving Letoile the opening needed to bring Another Atlas directly around Foyal and strip away his cover. Klaus then defeats him.

Immediately afterward, Zenon appears after defeating William and attacks the surviving Golden Dawn members. Letoile and Klaus are impaled by his Bone Magic but later healed by William's Budding of Yggdrasil.

William Vangeance is Letoile's captain and encourages the Golden Dawn to make use of the power remaining from their elf possession.

Yuno fights beside Letoile during the Spade Kingdom attack and clears away Foyal's mist so her Compass Magic can function effectively.

Klaus Lunettes coordinates with Letoile against Foyal and later suffers Zenon's attack alongside her.

Kivn is the elf whose soul possesses Letoile during the reincarnation crisis.

Foyal Migusteau is defeated after Letoile's Another Atlas strips away his protective Mist Magic.

Zenon Zogratis critically injures Letoile during the assault on Golden Dawn headquarters.
