Koji Mori

Mori receives very little individual characterization. His role is functional, centered on participating in the baseball game rather than establishing a separate personality or personal storyline.

Mori has enough baseball experience to participate alongside older players during the second varsity-versus-prefab contest.

No firmly established primary position, batting specialty or exceptional baseball skill is given enough attention to define his play further.

Mori appears during the second confrontation between Daimon's varsity and the prefab players. The game carries much greater consequences than an ordinary practice match because the future direction of Seishuu's baseball program depends on its outcome.

The prefab side requires additional players to complete its roster, bringing younger baseball players such as Mori into the contest.

The prefab team wins the rematch, destroying Daimon's claim that his hand-picked varsity is unquestionably superior and triggering the collapse of the system that had divided Seishuu's baseball club.
