Kazuki Juumonji

Juumonji is proud, confrontational and more thoughtful than his delinquent image initially suggests. Among the Ha-Ha Brothers, he most often takes responsibility for deciding what the trio will do.

He is also the first to become genuinely invested in football. Challenges to Deimon's line increasingly feel personal to him, particularly when opponents imply that the Ha-Ha Brothers are merely temporary substitutes rather than legitimate players.

Juumonji retains his temper as his commitment grows. The difference is that his pride gradually becomes attached to training, teammates and football accomplishments rather than simply winning street confrontations.

Juumonji develops into a versatile lineman capable of playing offensive tackle and defensive end. His bench press rises from roughly 65 kg to 85 kg as Deimon's training transforms his conditioning.

At 4.7 seconds in the 40-yard dash, he is relatively mobile for a lineman. Deimon can use that movement in coordinated blocks rather than relying solely on the stationary power Kurita provides.

Juumonji is also capable of handling the ball in unusual situations. His first touchdown is especially striking because offensive linemen almost never receive the opportunity to score.

Juumonji begins as one of the delinquents who target Sena before Hiruma forces the trio into Deimon's orbit. He survives the Hell Tower recruitment process and gradually discovers that he cares about earning his place on the team.

The Death March and subsequent games accelerate that change. Juumonji increasingly acts as the person who keeps Togano and Kuroki committed when the easier choice would be to quit.

He also becomes one of the first people outside Deimon's original core to recognize the truth behind Sena's Eyeshield 21 disguise.

Shozo Togano and Koji Kuroki are Juumonji's closest friends and fellow Ha-Ha Brothers. He frequently acts as the leader who keeps Shozo Togano and Koji Kuroki moving in the same direction.

Sena Kobayakawa begins as a target for Juumonji's bullying but gradually becomes a teammate whose determination he respects.

Daigo Ikari becomes Juumonji's most violent individual matchup. Their confrontation during Deimon's game with Oujou tests Juumonji's willingness to stand his ground against a stronger delinquent.

Erito Juumonji is Juumonji's father, whose own forceful personality helps explain the pride and stubbornness his son brings to competition.
