Kaizou

Kaizou is boastful, excitable and frequently convinced that he deserves more respect than he receives. He enjoys praising his own capabilities and can become jealous when another machine or person attracts attention that he believes should belong to him.

Much of his behavior is nevertheless driven by genuine attachment to Yuga and the group. Kaizou complains about the treatment he receives, particularly when his body is modified or damaged, but repeatedly assists his friends when they need information or technical support.

He also has a pronounced attraction to female-coded drones and artificial intelligences. This tendency regularly distracts him and becomes the basis for several of his comedic storylines.

Kaizou is an advanced autonomous drone capable of independent thought, movement and communication. Yuga's modifications give him considerably more individuality than ordinary Goha drones.

His body is highly adaptable. Yuga can dismantle, rebuild and equip Kaizou for different purposes, while his connection to Goha technology allows him to interact with systems that would otherwise be difficult for the children to access.

Kaizou can gather and store large quantities of data. This makes his memory valuable enough to attract Nail Saionji, who recognizes that information stored inside the drone can be useful for analyzing Rush Duels.

Yuga encounters the Goha drone while investigating the consequences of creating Rush Duels and subsequently remodels it into Kaizou. The newly independent machine becomes a regular member of the group, accompanying Yuga, Lucidien "Luke" Kallister, Romin Kirishima and Gakuto Sogetsu.

Kaizou's data becomes important during the conflict with Nail. Nail takes Kaizou apart and extracts information from him, using what he learns as part of his analysis of Rush Dueling and Yuga's inventions. Kaizou is later restored.

His mechanical nature repeatedly makes him useful during later crises involving Goha's systems. Kaizou ultimately accompanies Yuga during the final confrontation with Otes and disappears with him when their spacecraft is caught in the aftermath. He returns with Yuga two years later.

Yuga Ohdo remodels Kaizou and becomes the person to whom he is most strongly attached. Kaizou frequently complains about Yuga Ohdo's treatment of his body, but his loyalty to the young inventor remains consistent.

Lucidien "Luke" Kallister, Romin Kirishima and Gakuto Sogetsu are Kaizou's regular companions through his association with Yuga Ohdo.

Nail Saionji becomes interested in Kaizou's stored data and has the drone dismantled so that his information can be analyzed.

Otes becomes connected to Kaizou through the escalating struggle over the future of Dueling. [Kaizou accompanies Yuga Ohdo into the final confrontation against him.](#spoiler)
