Hiroto Mori

Hiroto is theatrical and treats his destructive voice like a performance. His microphone is both practical equipment and part of the stage-like presentation surrounding his ability.

He is comfortable allowing Chandra and Yubiko to engage opponents directly while he establishes a position from which his sound can influence a much wider area.

His dependence on precise sound control also encourages him to maintain distance and awareness rather than rushing into close combat.

Hiroto can use his voice to generate extremely powerful sound waves. With his microphone amplifying them, the vibrations can repel targets, create small explosions, and cut through the air like blades.

Infernal Concert uses his voice to awaken numerous skeletons and make them move under his direction, effectively turning the dead into a macabre dancing army.

Hiroto's sensitivity to sound and vibration also lets him perceive activity across the battlefield. This provides considerable situational awareness but leaves him vulnerable when an opponent can bypass his sound-based defenses unexpectedly.

Hiroto travels with Chandra and Yubiko to the Beast Isles during the attempt to retrieve Tokio. While the other two pursue individual opponents, Hiroto takes high ground and uses his amplified voice to affect the island on a broader scale.

His roar awakens buried skeletons, creating additional enemies for the Keepers while he tracks battles through vibration.

Shadowl Shant reaches Hiroto despite his sound waves and punches through his chest. Hiroto subsequently uses Raise and returns for an "encore," demonstrating that the initial wound is insufficient to remove an experienced Choujin from battle.

Chandra Hume accompanies Hiroto to the Beast Isles as part of the mission to retrieve Tokio.

Yubiko is another mercenary involved in the operation and handles much of the mission's direct close-range combat.

Tokio Kurohara is the target the group has been sent to retrieve.

Ely Otta encounters Hiroto's sound attacks while fighting on the island.

Shadowl Shant becomes Hiroto's most direct opponent. Shadowl uses his darkness-enhanced speed to get past Hiroto's sound and pierce his torso.
