Hikaru Tsuki

Hikaru initially treats people and possessions as interchangeable, reflecting his father's materialistic habits. He expects obedience and becomes frustrated when Naruto refuses to act as his servant.

His attitude changes after bonding with the circus animals Chamū and Kiki. Experiencing genuine concern for another living creature gives him a clearer understanding of friendship and responsibility.

Hikaru is not a trained shinobi. During the coup, however, he uses a bow and specialized arrows to assist in rescuing his father.

Hikaru travels with his father under the protection of Team Kakashi. His conflict with Naruto Uzumaki gradually develops into friendship.

When Michiru is captured for execution, Hikaru uses an arrow to cut the rope suspending his father. He later encourages Michiru during the final battle against Ishidate.

Michiru Tsuki is Hikaru's father, while Amayo is his mother and Kakeru Tsuki his grandfather.

Naruto Uzumaki initially clashes with Hikaru but becomes one of the people who teaches him the value of friendship. Chamū is the sabre-toothed cat Hikaru wants to befriend, and Kiki is Chamū's monkey companion.
