Gofsef

Gofsef is simple-minded, obedient and closely attached to his father. He communicates mainly through grunts and roars, which Professor Nebraska appears able to understand.

Their relationship is genuinely affectionate despite their criminal activities. Gofsef willingly carries his father and follows his directions, while Nebraska praises his son and becomes distressed when he is injured.

Gofsef's enormous body gives him exceptional physical strength. His size alone makes him capable of causing substantial structural damage, while his cybernetic modifications add a ranged attack to that raw power.

His right fist can detach and launch forward with wrecking-ball force before returning to the arm. A vent on the back of his head also releases steam, although no specific function for it is established.

Vash demonstrates the weakness of the launching mechanism by using extraordinarily precise gunfire to alter the fist's trajectory and damage the apparatus rather than attempting to overpower Gofsef directly.

Gofsef and Professor Nebraska break out of prison before Inepril's authorities call on them as a last resort for capturing Vash. Their own criminal reputation and combined bounty make them dangerous fugitives, but Vash represents a vastly more valuable target.

Their battle threatens substantial collateral damage because of Gofsef's size and cybernetic fist. Vash defeats the pair without killing them, after which they are arrested. Their combined $$700,000 bounty is awarded to Inepril and helps pay for repairs to the city's malfunctioning Plant.

Patricia and Gofsef's siblings later work for Morgan because the promised payment could be used to bail Gofsef and Professor Nebraska out of jail.

Professor Nebraska is Gofsef's father and constant partner. Gofsef carries him in a pocket and follows his directions during their battles.

Patricia Nebraska is Gofsef's mother and, like her son, possesses an enormous physique.

Marilyn Nebraska is Gofsef's older sister.

Tonkichi Nebraska, Chinpei Nebraska and Kanta Nebraska are Gofsef's brothers.

Vash the Stampede is the bounty target Gofsef and his father attempt to capture in Inepril.
