Gapri

Gapri is cheerful during combat and condescending toward enemies he regards as inferior. His lighthearted behavior does not prevent him from taking his military responsibilities seriously, and he readily responds when the Three Stars are summoned for an important assignment.

He is especially protective of Sonya. When Zash Caine involves her in the operation to retrieve Dragon Cry, Gapri warns him that harming Sonya will provoke the king. The remark demonstrates both loyalty to Animus and awareness of how highly the king values his aide.

Gapri uses an unnamed form of Clinging Magic that allows him to adhere himself to solid surfaces. Its principal combat application is keeping himself attached to his Stellanium flotation device even while it travels at extreme speeds or changes orientation.

The device can alter between ball-like and board-like configurations and provides high-speed flight. Gapri's control of it allows him to pursue magically accelerated opponents and maneuver through aerial attacks, including Wendy Marvell's Sky Dragon's Roar.

His greatest advantage is mobility rather than raw destructive power. By constantly repositioning himself, Gapri can attack from difficult angles and force opponents to coordinate their movements to catch him.

Gapri accompanies Swan and Doll when the Three Stars are sent to recover Dragon Cry. Their surprise attack catches Team Natsu unprepared, and Stella's elite soldiers rapidly overpower the group.

After the Fairy Tail mages escape, Gapri separates from his teammates and confronts Wendy and Carla. The encounter develops into a contest of aerial speed, with Gapri's Stellanium device allowing him to keep pace with their enhanced movement. Wendy and Carla eventually synchronize their breathing and movements closely enough to strike him together, defeating him after obtaining control of his device.

Swan and Doll are Gapri's partners in the Three Stars. Their different specialties give the unit a broad combat range, with Gapri providing exceptional mobility.

Animus is Gapri's king and ultimate commander. Gapri responds readily to his orders and understands that protecting Sonya is particularly important to him.

Sonya is someone Gapri and the other Three Stars are expected to protect. Gapri explicitly warns Zash Caine against putting her in danger.

Wendy Marvell and Carla are Gapri's principal opponents. Their speed makes them natural matches for his own aerial specialization, and they ultimately overcome his mobility by coordinating their attacks rather than pursuing him independently.
