Fleurdelis

Fleurdelis is disciplined, courageous, and deeply protective of the people she considers family. Her position among Dogmatika's elite warriors demands obedience and martial resolve, but her loyalty is not blind when those she cares about are treated unjustly.

Her relationship with Ecclesia exposes a gentler side beneath her imposing armor. Fleurdelis takes her responsibilities toward the younger maiden seriously and reacts strongly when Ecclesia is endangered or punished.

She also possesses a pronounced sense of justice. Although initially committed to Dogmatika, Fleurdelis is capable of questioning the institution she serves when its actions conflict with the principles she believed it represented.

Fleurdelis possesses one of the sacred stigmata bestowed upon Dogmatika's chosen warriors, granting her supernatural power. She combines this blessing with exceptional martial ability and heavy armor, making her one of Dogmatika's strongest combatants.

Dogmatika Fleurdelis, the Knighted is a Level 8 LIGHT Spellcaster whose card effect allows her to Special Summon herself when an Extra Deck monster is on the field. Under the appropriate conditions she can negate the effects of an opposing monster, while her presence can also increase the ATK of allied Dogmatika monsters.

After breaking away from Dogmatika, Fleurdelis appears as The Iris Swordsoul. In this guise she continues fighting with her own strength rather than serving the religious order that originally empowered her.

Fleurdelis begins as a leading knight of the Nation of Dogmatika during its conflict with the Tri-Brigade. When Albaz unexpectedly falls into the region and transforms into a dragon, Fleurdelis is among the powerful Dogmatika figures drawn into the resulting confrontation.

Her loyalty is tested by the treatment of Ecclesia. After Ecclesia is exiled on false grounds, Fleurdelis is herself restrained and questioned under similarly fabricated accusations. Learning what happened to Ecclesia drives her into open anger against the authorities she previously served.

Fleurdelis subsequently abandons her former position and reappears as The Iris Swordsoul. Her departure places her among those resisting the forces behind Dogmatika's corruption rather than continuing to serve Maximus.

Her path later intersects again with Ecclesia and the expanding conflict involving Despia, the Swordsoul and the forces emerging from the Abyss.

Ecclesia is the person with whom Fleurdelis shares her strongest personal bond in Dogmatika. Fleurdelis is fiercely protective of Ecclesia, and the younger maiden's unjust exile becomes one of the decisive reasons Fleurdelis turns against Dogmatika's leadership.

Albaz enters Fleurdelis's life as the mysterious outsider whose arrival destabilizes events within Dogmatika. His connection with Ecclesia becomes increasingly important to Fleurdelis as the conflict expands.
