El Drago

El Drago is greedy, arrogant, violent, and almost entirely motivated by gold. He has little interest in treasure for its history or sentimental value and instead desires the wealth and status it represents.

He readily threatens civilians and subordinates when they obstruct his search.

The Goe Goe no Mi allows El Drago to generate devastating sound waves by shouting. These vocal blasts can destroy large structures and attack targets at range.

He is also physically strong and wears substantial golden armor, though the weight and extravagance of his equipment reflect his vanity as much as practical combat needs.

El Drago hunts for Woonan's legendary hoard and forces Tobio to assist his crew.

His search brings him into direct competition with the Straw Hats, eventually leading Luffy to confront him over both the treasure and his treatment of others.

Tobio is forced to work for him. Golass serves as one of his mercenaries, while Monkey D. Luffy becomes his principal opponent.
