Ehara

Ehara receives little individual characterization away from baseball. He is presented principally as one of the younger players who develops through Seishuu's middle-school system and later fills a regular position on the high-school team.

Ehara is a left-handed hitter and plays second base. His number 4 uniform corresponds with his regular defensive position in Seishuu's infield.

He bats seventh in the varsity order. No particular signature hitting technique is emphasized, but remaining in the starting lineup of the team built around Kou, Akaishi and Azuma establishes him as a dependable supporting player.

Ehara first belongs to Seishuu Academy's middle-school baseball club, where he plays alongside Aoba and several other students who later advance into the high-school program.

By Kou's third year, Ehara is Seishuu's regular second baseman and part of the starting nine during the team's final pursuit of Koshien.

Aoba Tsukishima plays and practices alongside Ehara during their middle-school years before both advance to Seishuu High School.

Kou Kitamura, Osamu Akaishi, Yuuhei Azuma, Daiki Nakanishi and Keiichirou Senda are older members of the Seishuu varsity on which Ehara becomes the regular second baseman.
