Dominic

Dominic is energetic, active and eager to participate in whatever his siblings are doing. He enjoys games and physical activity and has a noticeably sturdy build for his age.

He is also brave and protective. Dominic can become frightened like the other young children, but concern for someone else often overrides his fear. That tendency becomes increasingly important as the family encounters dangers far more serious than anything inside Grace Field.

Life outside the farm forces Dominic to mature quickly. He remains lively but becomes more accustomed to practical work, survival and looking after other children.

Dominic has no supernatural abilities. His strengths are physical fitness, courage and the survival skills he develops after leaving Grace Field.

He assists with preparations once the younger children are included in Emma's plan, gathering clothing, food and other supplies. Outside the plantation, he learns the practical skills required to live in the forest and at Shelter B06-32.

By the later manga arcs, Dominic has gained experience with weapons and dangerous expeditions and is capable of acting independently with other members of the family.

Dominic initially appears among the younger children being raised by Isabella. After the escape conspiracy expands, he learns enough about Grace Field's true purpose to help prepare supplies.

Dominic escapes Plant 3 with the children aged five and older and travels through the demon forest before reaching Shelter B06-32.

During Andrew's attack on the shelter, Dominic leaves with Alicia, Mary, Malcolm and Fred to search for Yugo and Lucas. Andrew finds the group, kills several of the children and shoots Dominic in the leg. Dominic survives long enough for Emma and Zack to intervene.

He continues with the surviving Grace Field family through the later struggle against the farm system.

Emma is an older sister figure whom Dominic trusts and follows after learning about the escape plan.

Alicia is one of Dominic's close friends among the younger escapees. The two share energetic personalities and frequently help each other.

Isabella raises Dominic as his Mama at Grace Field House.

Andrew attacks Dominic's group after the raid on Shelter B06-32 and shoots him in the leg.

Zack helps Emma rescue Dominic and Alicia from Andrew.
