Dominic

Dominic is polite, friendly, supportive, and generally relaxed. He rarely shares Camilla's tendency to mock other people and frequently attempts to soften situations when her jealousy or bluntness creates unnecessary tension.

He sees qualities in Camilla that her abrasive behavior can hide. Dominic openly describes her as a good person underneath her sharp tongue and praises her when she makes a sincere effort to help somebody else.

His relaxed nature is not always appreciated by Camilla. She complains about his lack of career ruthlessness and his habit of being late, suggesting that his easygoing personality carries into both work and romance.

Dominic has no established supernatural, combat, or espionage abilities. His role is that of an ordinary Ostanian civilian working within Berlint City Hall.

He is socially perceptive enough to notice tension between coworkers and often attempts to mediate rather than intensify it. That quality makes him particularly useful around Camilla and Yor.

Dominic also has a close enough relationship with Yuri that the younger man trusts him with questions concerning Yor, although Dominic remains unaware of Yuri's actual State Security Service career.

Dominic first becomes important when Yuri asks him to evaluate the man Yor claims she is bringing to Camilla's party. Through that conversation, he unknowingly contributes to the pressure forcing Yor to maintain her fabricated relationship with Loid.

At the party, Dominic treats Yor kindly and expresses regret that the man she mentioned has not arrived. Loid Forger's eventual entrance confirms Yor's story and prevents Yuri from immediately learning that she had lied.

Dominic later helps during Yor's attempts to learn cooking. He supports the lessons and serves as one of the people tasting her attempts, even after experiencing how dangerous her failed dishes can be.

Camilla is Dominic's girlfriend and coworker. He openly likes her despite her temper and frequently brings out her more embarrassed and affectionate side.

Yuri Briar is Dominic's friend and neighbor. Yuri asks him for information about Yor and trusts him enough to discuss his concerns about her relationships.

Yor Forger is Dominic's coworker and Yuri's sister. Dominic consistently treats her sympathetically and encourages Camilla to help her.

Loid Forger meets Dominic through Yor and Camilla's social circle.
