Conny

Conny is affectionate, innocent and somewhat insecure about her academic performance. She knows that she does not score as highly as several older children but remains optimistic about her future.

Her dream is simple: she wants to become a wonderful mother. She admires Isabella and treasures the family she has at Grace Field.

Conny is particularly attached to Little Bunny, the stuffed rabbit Isabella gave her. Forgetting it during her departure provides the reason Emma and Norman rush toward the gate to return it.

Conny has no special combat abilities. She is an ordinary six-year-old and performs around the average range for her age on Grace Field's tests.

Her significance is therefore not based on exceptional skills but on her place within the family. She is loved by her siblings, especially Emma and Don, and her departure profoundly changes their understanding of Grace Field.

Conny is selected to leave Grace Field after being told that a foster family has been found for her. The children celebrate her departure, believing she is beginning a new life outside the orphanage.

Emma and Norman discover that Conny left Little Bunny behind and run to the gate before Isabella can return. They find Conny's corpse inside a truck and witness demons discussing the children as livestock. Her death reveals the true purpose of Grace Field House and initiates Emma and Norman's escape plan.

Conny therefore remains important long after her brief appearance. The memory of what happened to her repeatedly reminds the children what awaits those who remain within the farm system.

Isabella raises Conny as her Mama, and Conny admires her enough to dream of becoming a mother herself.

Emma treats Conny as a beloved younger sister. Discovering Conny's body is the event that exposes Grace Field's secret to Emma.

Norman accompanies Emma to return Little Bunny and discovers the truth of the farm alongside her.

Don is especially fond of Conny and treats her like a younger sister. Learning what actually happened to her intensifies his determination to protect the rest of the family.
