Canon provides little individualized characterization for Choppo. He is primarily shown among the students enduring the sixth Kodor's introductory program rather than receiving a separate personal storyline.

His continued participation demonstrates sufficient determination to endure Myers's physical training, which is intentionally harsh and designed to prevent magicians from relying entirely on spellcasting.

Choppo specializes in Heat Magic, the first type of magic, making him a Red Magician within Magnostadt's classification system.

As a magician, he can also produce a Borg. This automatic defensive field uses the Rukh to repel attacks carrying hostile intent and offers protection from both physical and magical attacks, although its durability depends upon the individual magician.
