Cherry Taisa

Cherry initially behaves like a conventional rampaging monster, attacking Edo and confronting Space Woman.

His relationship with her reveals a more personal side. The two previously met while each was frustrated with romance, creating an awkward connection that makes their supposed hero-versus-monster confrontation considerably less straightforward.

He is also opportunistic enough to attempt an attack while Space Woman is emotionally distracted, showing that any romantic understanding between them does not erase their antagonistic roles.

Cherry's most obvious advantage is his enormous size. At fifty metres tall and approximately 20,000 tons, he can threaten buildings and infrastructure simply through physical movement.

He possesses the strength expected of a giant kaiju and is capable of directly grappling with Space Woman.

No extensive set of named techniques is established. His battle functions primarily as an Ultraman parody, emphasizing giant-scale physical confrontation.

Cherry arrives in Edo while the Yorozuya are dealing with Space Woman, an enormous extraterrestrial heroine whose personal problems have begun interfering with her work.

Space Woman reveals that she previously met Cherry at a bar while both were experiencing romantic disappointment. She therefore approaches their confrontation partly as an opportunity to express her feelings.

The arrival of Hiroshi, Space Woman's former lover, further complicates the situation. After rejecting Hiroshi, Space Woman turns her attention back to Cherry.

Cherry attempts to attack her during the confused confrontation, but their physical contact is interpreted romantically. When the situation becomes too much for him, Space Woman ultimately blasts him apart.

Space Woman is Cherry's giant-hero opponent and an acquaintance from a bar. Their confrontation becomes entangled with her romantic interest in him.

Hiroshi is Space Woman's former romantic interest and appears during her confrontation with Cherry.

Sakata Gintoki, Shimura Shinpachi and Kagura accompany Space Woman when she goes to confront Cherry.
