Space Woman

Space Woman is dutiful and enormously powerful but deeply insecure about her romantic life. Years spent protecting planets have left little opportunity for ordinary relationships, and pressure from her family makes her increasingly anxious about marriage.

She is emotional and easily flustered when discussing romance. Her confidence in battle does not transfer to confessing her feelings, forcing Sakata Gintoki, Shimura Shinpachi and Kagura to coach her.

Her relationship with her parents is affectionate but argumentative. A timer on her forehead does not measure a superheroic combat limit; it reminds her to telephone home every three minutes.

Space Woman possesses the immense size and physical strength expected of a giant interstellar heroine. Her 40-metre body allows her to fight kaiju-scale enemies directly.

She can fly and survive combat against giant extraterrestrial monsters. Her strength is sufficient to launch opponents enormous distances and destroy creatures comparable to herself in size.

Unlike the hero she parodies, her forehead timer is connected to calling her family rather than an actual three-minute limit on her powers.

Space Woman accidentally drops a gigantic Valentine's chocolate through the Yorozuya roof. She explains that she intends to give it to someone she likes and eventually reveals that the recipient is Colonel Cherry, a monster she previously met at a bar.

Her former superior Hiroshi, with whom she previously had an affair while he was married, interrupts the confession and announces that he has finally divorced his wife.

Space Woman rejects Hiroshi and chooses to pursue Cherry instead. When Cherry becomes overwhelmed by the bizarre romantic confrontation, Space Woman ultimately destroys him and reports to her mother that she has once again protected the universe.

Colonel Cherry is Space Woman's monster rival and romantic interest. The two met at a bar while experiencing similar romantic frustrations.

Hiroshi is Space Woman's former superior and previous romantic interest. He had been married during their relationship and later returns claiming to have divorced.

Sakata Gintoki, Shimura Shinpachi and Kagura become Space Woman's advisers when she seeks help confessing her feelings.

Sadaharu is present when Space Woman's enormous Valentine's gift crashes into the Yorozuya residence.
