Charla

Charla is proud, stern, and initially hostile toward humans, reflecting the anger carried by the reincarnated elves. She is confident in her abilities and does not hesitate to confront powerful opponents.

She is also perceptive and pragmatic. Her attitude toward humans becomes less rigid through her interactions with Yami Sukehiro, whose behavior repeatedly irritates her but also earns a degree of respect. Their exchanges mirror Charlotte and Yami's relationship in an exaggerated fashion, though Charla is considerably more confrontational.

Charla uses Briar Magic, producing and manipulating thorn-covered vines. Because she inhabits Charlotte's body, her magic manifests through the same attribute but differs from the weakened blue roses Charlotte normally uses.

The elf's immense mana allows Charla to produce large quantities of red briars and manipulate them across extensive areas. Her spells can restrain opponents, defend against attacks, and form enormous thorn structures capable of striking from multiple directions.

Charla also possesses the heightened mana and natural magical control characteristic of elves. Her abilities become particularly valuable against magic that spreads through or manipulates large spaces.

Charla emerges during the Elf Reincarnation crisis when elf souls awaken inside compatible human hosts. She takes control of Charlotte's body and initially fights against the Clover Kingdom.

Her path eventually brings her into contact with Yami. Although they begin as opponents, circumstances force them toward a common threat as the true cause of the conflict begins to emerge.

Charla and Yami fight together against Zagred, combining Briar Magic and Dark Magic while attempting to prevent the devil from overwhelming the Shadow Palace. After Zagred's defeat and the reincarnation spell is undone, Charla's soul leaves Charlotte's body.

Her time controlling Charlotte also has an unexpected consequence: Charlotte observes how Charla uses Briar Magic and later adapts those techniques to improve her own control of the curse-altered blue roses.

Charlotte Roselei is Charla's human host during the elf reincarnation. Their shared Briar Magic gives Charlotte an opportunity to observe a more complete version of her own attribute.

Yami Sukehiro initially clashes with Charla but later fights beside her against Zagred. Their argumentative exchanges resemble Yami's established dynamic with Charlotte.

Patolli is one of the elves whose plan brings about the reincarnation of Charla and the other members of their tribe.

Zagred is the devil responsible for manipulating the tragedy surrounding the elf tribe, and Charla joins the battle against him after the truth emerges.
