Cargo is quiet, frightened, and dependent on the adults of his village when Frieza's soldiers appear. His limited screen time does not establish a detailed individual personality.

His reactions nevertheless emphasize how threatening the invasion is to ordinary Namekians, particularly children who have no role in the wider competition over the Dragon Balls.

Cargo is a young Namekian rather than a trained warrior and is not shown using offensive techniques.

As a Namekian, he belongs to a species with greater natural resilience than ordinary humans, but the source material does not establish a personal battle power or specialized abilities for him.

He should not be confused with the three adult Namekian youths who confront Frieza's soldiers and are explicitly measured at roughly 3,000 each.

Cargo is present with Dende and Muuri when Frieza's group attacks their village.

Muuri attempts to protect the children while adult Namekians resist Dodoria and Frieza's soldiers. During the confrontation, Dodoria kills Cargo while attacking the villagers.

Cargo is later revived alongside the other Namekians killed by Frieza's forces when Earth's Dragon Balls restore their victims. He subsequently leaves the doomed Planet Namek with the rest of his people.

Dende is Cargo's fellow child from Muuri's village and the character with whom he is most closely associated.

Muuri is the elder responsible for protecting Cargo's village.

Frieza leads the invasion that places Cargo in danger, while Dodoria becomes responsible for Cargo's death during the attack.
