Bulbous G

Bulbous G behaves as an animalistic predator. It pursues spiritually aware humans, attacks through brute force and shows no developed speech, strategy or individual motive beyond feeding.

The Hollow possesses great size, physical strength and enough durability to survive ordinary impacts. No named technique or unusual spiritual ability is attributed to it.

Bulbous G’s importance lies less in its own power than in the force it draws from Chad, whose newly awakened arm proves vastly stronger.

Bulbous G appears during the mass Hollow outbreak caused by Uryū Ishida’s bait. Chad draws it away from his friends despite being unable to perceive its body clearly at first.

His desire to protect Karin completes the awakening of his armored right arm. Chad then destroys Bulbous G with a single empowered punch. Because the killing blow is a Fullbring attack rather than a Shinigami Zanpakutō, the story does not describe the Hollow as purified.

Yasutora Sado is Bulbous G’s principal opponent and destroyer. Karin Kurosaki is among the people it pursues, while Uryū Ishida indirectly summons it by releasing Hollow bait.
