Beam

Beam is hyperactive, naïve, excitable, and almost worshipfully devoted to Chainsaw Man. He loudly celebrates Denji's victories and follows even reckless instructions if he believes they come from his "Lord Chainsaw."

His memories extend beyond what Denji understands about his own powers. Beam recognizes techniques used by the original Chainsaw Devil and becomes an important source of hints about how Pochita once fought.

Despite his chaotic behavior, Beam is deeply loyal. He repeatedly places his own body between Denji and lethal attacks without hesitation.

Beam can swim through walls, floors, and other solid surfaces as though they were water, allowing him to appear unexpectedly and bypass conventional barriers.

He can enlarge his head into a powerful shark form with multiple eyes and immense biting force. Beam can also temporarily transform his entire body into a more complete Shark Devil form with multiple fins functioning as limbs.

His enhanced smell allows him to track people and Devils, while his Fiend physiology gives him greater durability and strength than an ordinary human.

Beam joins Special Division 4 during the raid on the yakuza hideout and enthusiastically devours zombies.

He later becomes closely involved in the pursuit of Reze. Beam tells Denji that Chainsaw Man once used chains extending from his chainsaws to swing rapidly through buildings. Denji improvises on the explanation by riding Beam's shark form through the Typhoon Devil's storm.

During the international assassins crisis, Beam repeatedly helps Denji escape Santa Claus's dolls.

In Hell, Beam recognizes the Darkness Devil and immediately panics. Even after losing his arms, he feeds Denji blood from his wounds, pulls Denji's starter cord, and begs Chainsaw Man to revive before the Darkness Devil destroys him.

Denji is Beam's principal object of devotion. Beam identifies the Chainsaw Devil within him and repeatedly risks himself to keep Denji alive.

Pochita is the original Chainsaw Devil whose fighting style Beam remembers.

Reze becomes one of Beam's most dangerous opponents during the Bomb Girl conflict.

Typhoon Devil fights Beam and Denji during their combined airborne assault.

Makima supervises Beam as part of Special Division 4.

Darkness Devil kills Beam after he revives Denji in Hell.
