Azura

Azura is somewhat shy and reserved. She blushes when Kujaku makes an observation about her and initially appears nervous about trying ramen, reflecting how unfamiliar Senku's food can seem to people raised entirely within Ishigami Village.

Curiosity usually wins over hesitation. Azura takes an interest in the changes occurring around the village and joins the work required to make those changes possible.

She is commonly shown socializing with the village's women rather than taking a prominent role in its disputes or competitions.

Azura has no established combat specialty or unique supernatural ability. Her demonstrated skills are those required for ordinary life and labor in Ishigami Village.

She helps Sango wash fabric in the anime and becomes part of the workforce operating the iron forge. Pumping its bellows is physically demanding because Senku requires a continuous high-temperature fire to refine iron.

Her participation illustrates the collective manpower behind many of the Kingdom of Science's early achievements.

Azura becomes involved when Senku attempts to recruit enough villagers to operate the iron furnace. Food provides the incentive: the ramen stand attracts villagers who might otherwise have little reason to help an outsider with an incomprehensible project.

She subsequently joins the forge team, contributing to the production of iron needed for Senku's technological roadmap.

Azura remains a background member of Ishigami Village as the Kingdom of Science expands, appearing primarily in communal scenes rather than joining the principal expeditionary group.

Kujaku is another village woman with whom Azura is shown socializing.

Sango works alongside Azura while washing fabric in the anime.

Senku Ishigami's arrival brings Azura into the workforce behind the Kingdom of Science.

Chrome, Kohaku, and the other central villagers belong to the same community, although canon gives Azura little individualized interaction with them.
