Aruru

Aruru is portrayed as a cheerful and affectionate child who participates in the Hage family's everyday life. She reacts openly to developments involving Asta and Yuno and shares the other children's excitement and concern over their older foster brothers.

Canon gives Aruru little independent characterization beyond these family scenes. She is primarily depicted as one of the younger children whom the older members of the church household care for and protect.

Aruru is not a trained Magic Knight and has no established combat role during her childhood.

No specific magical attribute or named spell is established for her in the main story. Her appearances focus on ordinary life at the church rather than magical training or battle.

Aruru appears among the orphans who share Asta and Yuno's childhood in Hage. She remains at the church after the two older boys travel to the royal capital and join separate Magic Knight squads.

Her subsequent appearances generally occur when the narrative returns to Hage or shows the church family's reactions to Asta and Yuno's achievements.

During the Elf Reincarnation conflict, Aruru and the other children are endangered when the elf-possessed Digit Taliss attacks Hage. Orsi attempts to protect the family before Asta and Yuno return to confront the threat.

Aruru continues living with the Hage family through the later stages of Asta and Yuno's rise, remaining part of the home to which both Magic Knights retain strong emotional ties.

Asta is Aruru's foster brother. She grows up with him at the church before he joins the Black Bulls.

Yuno is another of Aruru's foster brothers and leaves Hage at the same time as Asta to pursue membership in the Magic Knights.

Orsi Orfai is Aruru's foster father and raises her alongside the church's other orphans.

Lily Aquaria is one of Aruru's principal caregivers at the church.

Recca, Nash, and Holo are Aruru's foster siblings and fellow Hage orphans.
