Aoyama no Chichi

Yuga's father is loving, anxious, protective, and deeply fearful of All For One.

He and his wife are wealthy enough to provide Yuga with extensive support, but money cannot resolve the distress their son experiences after being born Quirkless in a society where nearly everyone around him possesses an ability.

Their decision to contact All For One begins as an attempt to help rather than harm him. Once the bargain is made, however, the family discovers that All For One does not give gifts freely.

Yuga's father becomes compliant because he believes refusing orders will lead to his family's deaths. His later behavior reflects guilt as much as fear; he knows that saving Yuga from one form of suffering has placed him inside a much more dangerous situation.

Yuga's father has no established Quirk.

His strengths are civilian and financial. The Aoyamas are affluent enough to provide Yuga with expensive equipment and a comfortable upbringing.

Canon does not establish a professional occupation, combat ability, or hero training for him.

His most significant narrative role comes from the information and access created by the family's connection to All For One.

Yuga's father and mother raise a son who is born Quirkless and deeply distressed by feeling different from other children.

They eventually discover a way to contact All For One, who agrees to give Yuga Navel Laser.

The apparent favor becomes leverage. All For One threatens the family and forces them to provide information about U.A., turning Yuga into an unwilling mole while his parents act as intermediaries.

Their secret is eventually overheard by Toru Hagakure and Izuku, exposing the Aoyama family's role in several leaks of information to the villains.

Rather than simply abandoning the family, U.A. and the heroes devise a plan to exploit All For One's belief that the Aoyamas remain under his control.

Yuga and his parents participate in the deception that lures All For One into the opening stage of the Final War.

Yuga Aoyama is his son and the reason he initially seeks out All For One.

Aoyama no Hahaoya is his wife and partner in both protecting Yuga and obeying All For One's coercive demands.

All For One gives Yuga a Quirk and then uses the family's fear as leverage to force their cooperation.

Izuku Midoriya becomes one of the students who learns the family's secret and argues that Yuga can still choose to act heroically.

Tooru Hagakure overhears the Aoyamas discussing their connection to All For One.
