Amaru

Amaru is energetic, emotional, and fiercely devoted to Shinnō. Having experienced rejection from almost everyone around her, she attaches enormous importance to the first adult who treats her compassionately.

She internalizes Shinnō's stated belief that saving lives matters more than fighting, and that principle remains important to her even when her understanding of her teacher is challenged.

Years of medical instruction make Amaru a competent young healer. She can provide first aid, treat injuries and poisoning, and use a scalpel with enough precision to function as both medical instrument and utility tool.

She also displays surprising physical strength despite not being trained primarily as a combat shinobi.

Amaru accompanies Shinnō to Konoha after the Land of the Sky attacks and then travels back toward her village with Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno, and Hinata Hyūga.

Shinnō is revealed to have manipulated Amaru and her village as part of his plan to gather dark chakra for the Zero-Tails. Amaru is devastated, but Naruto convinces her that the ideals she learned about valuing life can remain meaningful even if Shinnō himself never believed them.

Shinnō is Amaru's teacher and the person she idolizes after he cures her childhood illness. Her feelings for him extend beyond ordinary admiration.

Naruto Uzumaki understands Amaru's experience of isolation and becomes her strongest emotional support. Sakura Haruno and Hinata Hyūga assist during the mission to her village.
