Personality
Personality
All Back-Man is frightened by overwhelming danger but is not cowardly. His encounter with the Deep Sea King makes the distinction especially clear: although terrified enough to lose control of his bladder, he still considers fighting because civilians behind him need time.
He is also realistic about the difference between hero classes. Rather than pretending that a group of C-Class fighters can reliably defeat an overwhelmingly powerful monster, he understands that their best contribution may simply be delaying the enemy until A-Class or S-Class reinforcement arrives.
His confidence as a professional hero is badly affected when even that effort proves insufficient.
Abilities & Powers
Abilities & Powers
All Back-Man is a hand-to-hand fighter with the physical training expected of a C-Class professional hero. He regards himself as one of the stronger heroes within that class, though his abilities remain modest compared with high-ranked combatants.
He does not possess a named martial art, specialized weapon, psychic ability, or technological equipment. His fighting posture suggests ordinary close-quarters combat training.
The Hero Association's assessment places more emphasis on his stamina, judgment, and willingness to act than exceptional destructive power.
Story Role
Story Role
All Back-Man appears when civilians take shelter from the Seafolk invasion in J-City. The arrival of Shinkaiou leaves the people inside facing an opponent who has already defeated several professional heroes.
All Back-Man initially attempts to negotiate, effectively offering surrender if the monster will spare the civilians. When that fails, he prepares to fight alongside several other lower-ranked heroes.
All Back-Man, Sneck, Jet Nice Guy, and Bunbun Man attack the Deep Sea King together but are defeated almost immediately. The humiliation destroys All Back-Man's confidence badly enough that he leaves professional hero work afterward.
He later appears again among Hero Association personnel, indicating that he eventually returns to hero activity.
