Alicia Florence

Alicia is calm, patient and almost impossible to hurry. Her characteristic "ara ara" and gentle laugh accompany an outlook that finds pleasure in everyday experiences rather than treating time outside work as something to be optimized.

She also has a mischievous streak, particularly around Akira Ferrari. Alicia knows exactly how to tease her childhood friend while maintaining the serene expression that makes Akira's reactions even stronger.

Her approach to mentoring is indirect. Instead of constantly correcting Akari, Alicia creates opportunities for her to notice things, make decisions and discover what kind of Undine she wants to become.

Alicia is one of Neo-Venezia's Three Water Fairies and an exceptionally accomplished gondolier. Her rowing is distinguished by smoothness and precision, making difficult navigation appear almost effortless.

She is equally skilled at hospitality. Alicia listens carefully to customers and allows tours to develop around their interests rather than forcing every passenger through the same prepared experience.

According to Akino Ametsuchi, Alicia's ability to enjoy virtually any situation is central to her strength as an Undine. That disposition allows her to make passengers comfortable because her own enjoyment of Neo-Venezia is genuine rather than performed.

Alicia is Akari's mentor from the beginning of her life on Aqua. Her example establishes the professional standard Akari is trying to reach, but Alicia rarely turns that standard into explicit pressure.

Stories involving Alicia often reveal that apparently effortless expertise rests on years of training. Flashbacks to her Single period with Akira and Athena Glory mirror the joint practice of the younger trio.

Alicia eventually gives Akari her Prima examination without announcing it beforehand. After Akari successfully guides her through Neo-Venezia, Alicia promotes her and gives her the title Aquamarine.

Soon afterward, Alicia announces that she is retiring as an Undine after accepting a position with the Gondola Association and preparing to marry. Her departure forces Akari to confront the inevitability of change within relationships she had hoped would remain permanent.

Akari Mizunashi is Alicia's student and junior at Aria Company. Alicia gives her room to develop an individual style rather than trying to reproduce her own. She eventually promotes Akari to Prima and entrusts the company's future to her.

Akira Ferrari is Alicia's longtime friend and fellow Water Fairy. Alicia frequently teases her, but their friendship dates back to their training years.
