Akira Nishida

He belongs to the large population of inexperienced newcomers forced to confront Gantz without the preparation available to returning hunters.

Nishida has no established supernatural abilities or specialized combat skills.

Gantz gives him access to its standard equipment, but he does not demonstrate notable proficiency with the suit or weapons.

Nishida appears among the new participants preceding the Dinosaur Alien mission. He is sent into the hunt alongside experienced players and numerous other victims of the violence in Shinjuku.

Nishida leaves the permitted mission area during the dinosaur hunt. Gantz's implanted explosive activates when he crosses the boundary, killing him without an alien having to attack him.

His brief participation reinforces the fact that Gantz's rules themselves can be as lethal as the mission targets.
