Affiliated with Studio Live since 1982. Studied under Toyoo Ashida. He has deep ties into Madhouse ever since working as a character designer on Trigun in 1998. A member of the Japanese Animation Creators Association (JAniCA).
Works as a mangaka under the name Something Yoshimatsu (サムシング吉松).
