A Mexican voice actor. He is best known for being the Latin American Spanish dub voice of Michelangelo in the first animated series of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, as well as Mr. Miyagi (Pat Morita) in the Karate Kid films.
He is married to Rocío Garcel and is the father of Jorge Roig Jr.
