Yuuou Gouha

Yuuou is intelligent, manipulative and intensely possessive of authority. His fascination with puppets reflects his preference for people and situations that behave exactly as he expects.

He is easily angered when events escape his control. Although he considers himself a superior strategist, unexpected developments can provoke childish outbursts, particularly when someone challenges the uniqueness of an advantage he believes belongs exclusively to him.

His relationship with his siblings reveals a more vulnerable side. Despite conspiring against them, Yuuou is genuinely surprised that they still care about him, and their efforts to celebrate his birthday help restore some of the warmth he displayed before the group's later conflicts.

Yuuou is an accomplished Rush Duelist using a LIGHT Deck containing monsters such as Imaginary Actor, Sword Dancer, Serpainter and Fire Jester.

His defining advantage is Fusion Summoning. By combining specified monsters with the Spell Card Fusion, he summons Cyborg monsters from the Extra Deck. Metarion Ashurastar, Metarion Vritrastar and Metarion King Cobrastar can exploit opposing Monster Types through specialized effects.

Yuuou is also technically knowledgeable and possesses the extensive authority available to a Goha president. His control over company systems and drones allows him to manipulate environments outside a Duel as effectively as he manipulates his monsters within one.

Yuuou returns from space with his siblings and participates in their plan to threaten the Super Rush Robot, forcing Yuga and his allies into a sequence of Rush Duels.

He soon reveals his unique advantage by Fusion Summoning against Yuga. The appearance of an Extra Deck mechanic dramatically changes Rush Dueling and sends Yuga searching for the origin of the mysterious Fusion card.

Yuuou's real objective is to have his siblings lose their Duels and resign, allowing him to become Goha's sole president. He progressively removes them from office while concealing the full extent of his plan.

His strategy begins collapsing after The Lukeman produces another Fusion card and defeats him. Although Yuuou temporarily retains control through the missing sibling's presidential badge, his manipulation of the family eventually forces his siblings and Yuga's group to unite against him.

Yuuro Gouha, Yuujin Gouha, Yuuka Gouha and Yuran Goha are Yuuou's older siblings and fellow presidents. Yuuou deliberately structures the challenge so their defeats can be used to remove them from office, but he later discovers that they still regard him as family despite his actions.

Yuga Goha is the missing member of the sibling group. Yuuou eventually comes into possession of his presidential badge, allowing him to retain power after losing his own position.

Yuga Ohdo is Yuuou's principal opponent during his introduction. Yuuou defeats Yuga Ohdo using Fusion Summoning, making their Duel the public introduction of the mechanic to Rush Duels.

Lucidien "Luke" Kallister becomes another important opponent. [The Lukeman personality associated with Lucidien "Luke" Kallister produces its own Fusion card and defeats Yuuou, destroying his belief that the mechanic belongs exclusively to him.](#spoiler)

Nail Saionji is pressured into assisting Yuuou through his position within Goha. Yuuou turns to Nail Saionji while investigating the origin of Fusion Summoning.
