Yutarou

Yutarou is insecure about returning home after leaving with grand ambitions. The gap between the life he imagined and his actual circumstances leaves him especially sensitive when old acquaintances mock his lack of success.

He nevertheless cares deeply about the bathhouse. Insults directed at him personally are easier to tolerate than contempt toward the establishment his family has maintained, and he becomes visibly angry when others disparage it.

His decision-making deteriorates after recognizing Sakamoto. The bounty seems to offer an immediate solution to his frustrations, and desperation briefly overwhelms the obvious fact that attempting to kill a legendary assassin is extraordinarily dangerous.

Yutarou is not fundamentally portrayed as a hardened criminal. His actions are those of a frustrated ordinary man making a reckless choice, which distinguishes his encounter with Sakamoto from the professional assassination attempts surrounding the series.

Yutarou has no established professional assassin training or superhuman combat ability.

His only meaningful advantage against Sakamoto is his intimate familiarity with the bathhouse. He attempts to manipulate its facilities and environment in ways that could turn ordinary bathing equipment into hazards without immediately exposing his intentions.

These improvised attempts demonstrate some ingenuity but cannot compensate for the difference between Yutarou and an elite assassin. Sakamoto notices what is happening and survives without needing to expose his full capabilities.

Yutarou appears during the Sakamoto family's visit to his bathhouse. The outing initially functions as a break from the increasingly dangerous assassin conflicts surrounding Sakamoto.

The situation changes once Yutarou recognizes him. Aware of the bounty attached to the former hitman, he begins quietly attempting to create fatal accidents using the bathhouse facilities.

At the same time, Yutarou is humiliated by Yokkun and Monchan, old acquaintances who ridicule his return home and insult the family business. The combination of financial temptation and personal embarrassment helps explain why he persists with a plan he has little chance of completing.

Sakamoto understands what Yutarou is doing but does not retaliate. Instead, his response ultimately leaves Yutarou with recognition of both Sakamoto's overwhelming ability and his unexpected restraint.

Taro Sakamoto becomes Yutarou's attempted bounty target after visiting the bathhouse. Sakamoto recognizes the assassination attempts but chooses not to punish him.

Yokkun is an old acquaintance who mocks Yutarou for returning home after leaving with larger ambitions.

Monchan accompanies Yokkun and joins in humiliating Yutarou and insulting the bathhouse.

Aoi Sakamoto, Hana Sakamoto, Shin Asakura, and Lu Shaotang are among the visitors accompanying Sakamoto during the bathhouse outing.
