Wu Wei Lu is fierce, impatient and famously hot-blooded. He reacts strongly to insults against his commanders and is prone to charging into dangerous situations with considerably more enthusiasm than caution.
Despite being a frequent target of Teng's dry humor, he is an experienced professional. His temper does not prevent him from reading a battlefield, rallying soldiers or carrying out difficult orders.

Wu Wei Lu is a powerful glaive fighter and was reputed to be the strongest of Qi Wang's principal army commanders. His offensive ability allows him to break through enemy formations and engage generals personally.
He is also extremely durable. He survives situations in which allies assume he has been killed, including fighting through Chu's war elephants during the Coalition invasion.
Decades of campaigning have given him strong tactical instincts. He can identify enemy command structures, execute formations and adapt quickly when an unusual weapon or tactic appears.
Story Role
Story Role
Wu Wei Lu commands Qi Wang's First Army at Bayou, where he participates in Qin's offensive against Zhao. After Qi Wang's death, he survives and transfers his loyalty to Teng along with the remaining veteran commanders.
During the Coalition invasion, he fights Chu's forces at Kankoku Pass and repeatedly enters dangerous frontline engagements. He later participates in the Choyou campaign and the Qin-Wei alliance at Juuko.
After Teng eventually leaves active military command, Wu Wei Lu assumes leadership over the core army formed from their veteran forces.

Qi Wang is Wu Wei Lu's original lord. His loyalty to the Great General is profound, and Qi Wang's death sends him into a furious series of attacks against Zhao.
Teng becomes his commander after Qi Wang and regularly teases him while continuing to trust his battlefield ability.
Long Guo is a fellow veteran of Qi Wang's army and later serves alongside Wu Wei Lu under Teng.
Kan Ou is another longtime comrade among the surviving officers.
Meng Wu commands Wu Wei Lu and the other Qi Wang officers during portions of the Battle of Bayou.
