Uwabami

Uwabami is confident, glamorous, commercially minded, and highly comfortable with the celebrity side of professional hero culture.

She does not regard publicity as separate from hero work. Commercial appearances, interviews, television spots, and brand endorsements are all treated as ordinary parts of maintaining a successful professional identity.

This initially disappoints students expecting an internship filled entirely with villain arrests, but Uwabami also demonstrates that celebrity work does not prevent her from responding seriously when civilians are in danger.

Serpentress gives Uwabami three living snakes growing from her hair. The snakes possess exceptionally acute senses that can detect people hidden from ordinary sight.

This makes the Quirk particularly suited to search-and-rescue operations. Uwabami can locate trapped civilians, concealed criminals, or people hidden inside structures.

The Quirk offers less direct destructive power than many combat-oriented abilities, so her professional value depends on sensory intelligence, coordination, and rescue work rather than overpowering enemies.

Uwabami accepts Momo Yaoyorozu and Itsuka Kendou as interns following the U.A. Sports Festival.

The students expect professional hero training but instead spend much of their placement participating in advertising and promotional work, exposing them to the commercial side of hero society.

Their internship takes a more serious turn during the Hosu crisis, when Uwabami joins the emergency response and uses Serpentress to locate civilians requiring assistance.

She later participates in wider hero mobilizations as organized villain activity escalates.

Momo Yaoyorozu interns with Uwabami and initially becomes frustrated by the emphasis on advertising rather than conventional hero training.

Itsuka Kendou completes the same internship and proves naturally comfortable with the promotional work Uwabami assigns them.

Endeavor and other Pro Heroes operate alongside Uwabami during the wider emergency response to the Hosu incident.
