Tsukamu Nishino

Nishino is loyal to the Yagyuu household and takes his duties as one of its Four Devas seriously. He participates without hesitation when the clan attempts to prevent Kyuubei Yagyuu from being taken away.

His imposing physique contrasts with his fondness for children's meals, one of the deliberately incongruous details attached to the Four Devas.

He is less individually outspoken than Toujou Ayumu, functioning primarily as a powerful and dependable member of the Yagyuu fighting force.

Nishino is one of the Yagyuu Family's Four Devas, a group consisting of the clan's strongest disciples. His enormous frame gives him substantial physical strength.

He is trained in the Yagyuu sword-fighting tradition and is capable of confronting skilled opponents during the battle over Kyuubei.

During the plate-breaking contest, Nishino fights Kagura and Sougo Okita. Kagura ultimately uses Okita himself as an improvised weapon to break Nishino's plate while simultaneously breaking Okita's.

Nishino appears during the Yagyuu arc when the Yorozuya and their allies enter the Yagyuu estate to bring Kyuubei back to Tae Shimura.

The dispute is settled through a large-scale plate-breaking contest. Nishino participates as one of the Four Devas defending the Yagyuu side and encounters Kagura and Okita during the battle.

He later returns with other members of the Yagyuu household when the clan becomes involved in defending Edo.

During the Silver Soul conflict, Nishino charges Ougai alongside his comrades but is overwhelmed by the Dakini leader's enormous strength.

Toujou Ayumu leads the Four Devas and serves alongside Nishino as one of the Yagyuu Family's principal retainers.

Kitaooji Itsuki and Minamito Sui are Nishino's fellow members of the Four Devas.

Kyuubei Yagyuu is a member of the main Yagyuu family whom Nishino and the other retainers protect.

Binbokusai Yagyuu is the patriarch under whose household Nishino serves.

Kagura and Sougo Okita oppose Nishino during the plate-breaking battle.
