Tron Morceau

Tron is loyal, supportive and comfortable operating beside Margarette Macaron rather than seeking attention for himself. Together with Cello Morceau, he handles duties around Margarette and accompanies them when the Orca prefect takes direct action.

Music occupies much of Tron's personal life. He enjoys visiting musical instrument shops, spends money on music magazines and practices the trombone during his holidays. Music is also his strongest school subject, reinforcing the close connection between his interests and his personal magic.

Tron recognizes exceptional magical talent when he sees it. He understands why Rain Ames is regarded as a genius after witnessing the Divine Visionary in action, while Mash Burnedead's unconventional abilities leave him far more confused.

Tron is a double-line mage with considerable magical reserves. His personal magic, Sounds, creates musical notes with different magical properties, including notes capable of exploding and others suited to defensive applications.

He can participate in Sounds Orchestra alongside Margarette and Cello. The spell produces waves of musical notation as an offensive barrage, combining the abilities of the three sound-magic users into a coordinated attack.

Tron also studies support magic through wind instruments. His particular association is with the trombone, while his broader research examines how different wind instruments can be incorporated into magical support techniques. This specialization complements Margarette's far more powerful and combat-oriented mastery of Sounds.

Tron appears alongside Cello as one of Margarette's attendants when the Orca Dorm prefect becomes directly involved in events surrounding Mash and the Divine Visionary selection process. The twins establish that Margarette does not operate entirely alone, instead having two musically inclined subordinates who support them.

Tron and Cello accompany Margarette during the confrontation with Rain. When the Sword Cane blocks Margarette's attempt to reach Mash, the encounter escalates into a battle between two of Easton's strongest figures.

Tron contributes alongside his brother and Margarette through Sounds Orchestra, but Rain's abilities demonstrate the enormous gulf between even capable double-line students and an established Divine Visionary. Tron remains associated with Margarette afterward as the Divine Visionary Candidate Selection Exam proceeds.

Cello Morceau is Tron's older twin brother. The brothers attend Easton together, serve as Margarette's secretaries and coordinate their sound-based abilities in support of their prefect.

Margarette Macaron is Tron's Orca Dorm prefect and the person he primarily supports. Tron and Cello Morceau accompany Margarette and participate in Sounds Orchestra with them.

Rain Ames is an opponent Tron encounters alongside Margarette Macaron and Cello Morceau. Witnessing Rain's ability leaves Tron with a clear understanding of why the Sword Cane is considered a genius.

Mash Burnedead is the student whose unusual strength becomes the focus of Margarette's attention. Tron's own assessment of Mash is largely bewilderment, as Mash's abilities do not fit the magical standards by which Tron normally evaluates people.
