Tongara

Tongara is cynical, pragmatic, money-driven, and hardened by years of mercenary work. Having witnessed atrocities and corruption during wars and covert missions, he no longer presents himself as someone fighting for idealistic reasons.

He is nevertheless an effective commander who cares enough about the people around him to act decisively when their survival is at stake.

Tongara's mercenary mentality also makes him willing to beg, bluff, or cooperate when doing so offers a chance to survive rather than dying for pride.

Tongara is an experienced professional soldier skilled with machine guns, handguns, battlefield tactics, and close-quarters combat.

Narinki supplies him with an advanced battle suit that greatly enhances his strength, speed, and durability.

The equipment allows Tongara and his squad to contend temporarily with opponents far stronger than ordinary humans, including Atomic Samurai's elite disciples.

His practical strengths also include squad command and experience accumulated through real military operations.

Narinki hires Tongara and six other mercenaries to rescue Waganma after becoming dissatisfied with the Hero Association's pace.

The squad enters the Monster Association base and defeats several weaker creatures before encountering G5.

G5 captures the team and delivers them to the Monster Association, where Do-S places them under mind control. They are subsequently forced to attack Iaian, Okamaitachi, and Bushidrill.

After being freed, Tongara and his squad accompany the swordsmen. When Evil Natural Water attacks, Tongara pushes Bushidrill out of the path of a lethal water jet and suffers catastrophic injuries himself. Mad Doctor Fish then attack him while he lies wounded.

Narinki employs Tongara to lead the private mission to rescue his son.

Chinpi, Sosshi, Asami, Noria, Sanshon, and Gomago are the mercenaries under Tongara's command.

Bushidrill is saved by Tongara when Evil Natural Water fires at the swordsman.
