Titan

Titan is intimidating, theatrical and highly confident in his ability to frighten opponents. He carefully cultivates the appearance of possessing genuine supernatural power and exploits an opponent's fear before and during a duel.

His professionalism is mercenary rather than honorable. Titan accepts payment to eliminate troublesome duelists and has no objection to using deception, kidnapping or psychological manipulation to create an advantage.

He nevertheless possesses genuine dueling ability beneath his tricks. His elaborate deceptions enhance his intimidation tactics, but his Archfiend strategy makes him dangerous even without them.

Titan uses an Archfiend Deck built around Fiend monsters such as Terrorking Archfiend and Infernalqueen Archfiend. Many of these monsters involve maintenance costs, dice-based effects and mutual support among Archfiend cards.

During his first appearance, Titan has no genuine Millennium Item. His supposed Millennium Puzzle is counterfeit, while fog, wires and other tricks reproduce effects that frightened opponents interpret as supernatural phenomena.

His attempt to stage a Shadow Game eventually draws him into genuine darkness. Afterward, Kagemaru restores him through the power associated with the Seven Stars and gives him a Shadow Charm, granting his later duel genuine supernatural stakes.

Cronos secretly hires Titan after ordinary attempts to remove Judai from Duel Academy fail. Titan kidnaps Asuka and brings Judai to the abandoned dormitory, where he stages what appears to be a Shadow Game.

Judai gradually exposes the tricks behind Titan's supposed supernatural powers. The confrontation nevertheless takes an unexpected turn when genuine darkness begins affecting the false Shadow Game.

Titan later returns as one of the Seven Stars, becoming the sixth assassin to challenge Duel Academy's defenders. He targets Asuka in the abandoned dormitory and exploits her desire to recover Fubuki's lost memories.

Asuka defeats Titan, after which the darkness that had sustained him pulls him away again.

Judai Yuki becomes Titan's target after Cronos hires him to remove Judai from Duel Academy.

Cronos de Medici initially employs Titan as a professional Shadow Duelist, paying him to defeat Judai Yuki.
