Sayaka Otakai

Sayaka's standard characterization is that of a talented, disciplined honor student. Within Love Choriss she captains the railroad club attended by the player character and is presented as accomplished in both literary and martial arts.

The dating simulation allows users to alter those traits through repeated choices. Consequently, a player's Sayaka can diverge dramatically from the original archetype.

Sougo Okita exploits this system more aggressively than most players. His approach to developing Sayaka reflects his sadistic personality and becomes one of the most extreme demonstrations of how thoroughly Love Choriss allows its heroines to be customized.

Sayaka is a virtual person and possesses no independent physical powers outside the Love Choriss system. Her abilities and behavior are determined by the dating simulation and the player who develops her.

Once players reach sufficient progress, their girlfriends can manifest visibly to other participants within the game's augmented environment. This allows Sayaka to participate directly in the My Wife World Tournament.

Her supposed proficiency in literary and martial arts belongs to her in-game characterization rather than establishing her as a supernatural combatant.

Sayaka appears during the Love Choriss storyline, when several characters become consumed by the dating simulator. Isao Kondou develops what he believes to be an intensely loyal Sayaka and brings her into the My Wife World Tournament.

Sougo subsequently appears and reveals his own connection to the same virtual heroine. The Sayaka accompanying Kondou has effectively been conditioned through Sougo's play style, turning Kondou's supposed romantic success into another component of Sougo's sadistic experiment.

Sougo's treatment of Sayaka eventually produces consequences even he does not fully control. After being developed around masochistic behavior, Sayaka reverses the dynamic, adopts a dominatrix persona and turns the punishment back on Sougo.

Isao Kondou believes Sayaka is his devoted Love Choriss girlfriend and brings her to the My Wife World Tournament.

Sougo Okita develops Sayaka through his own sadistic approach to the game. His conditioning ultimately backfires when Sayaka reverses their power dynamic and dominates him instead.

Sakata Gintoki encounters Sayaka as another virtual girlfriend during the My Wife World Tournament.

Shiramizu Pinko and Anigasaki Momo are the other principal virtual heroines available in Love Choriss.
