Personality
Personality
Roze initially behaves with the discipline expected of a weapon created for a specific military purpose. She is focused on defeating Raye and approaches their encounters through the worldview Spectra has imposed upon her.
Meeting another human gradually complicates that certainty. Raye represents something Roze has little experience with: a person who resembles her physically and technologically but has developed under radically different circumstances.
Roze's emotional growth becomes increasingly important as she begins making decisions based on her own experiences rather than simply fulfilling the role assigned to her.
Abilities & Powers
Abilities & Powers
Roze operates Sky Striker technology derived from the same fundamental concept as Raye's equipment. Because human operators can draw out capabilities that Spectra's autonomous machines cannot reproduce, she is created specifically to close the gap between the two sides.
Her combat equipment allows her to engage Raye directly at a level Spectra's ordinary forces struggle to match. Speed, aerial mobility, ranged attacks and close-quarters combat all form part of her capabilities.
Roze is also represented through additional Sky Striker forms and equipment as the conflict develops, reflecting the continuing evolution of Spectra's attempt to match Karma's Sky Striker system.
Story Role
Story Role
Spectra develops Roze after Raye's intervention transforms the balance of the war. The Three Pillars recognize that reproducing the hardware alone is insufficient because the decisive element of Karma's Sky Striker system is its human operator.
Roze is consequently deployed against Raye. Their encounters establish the central rivalry of the middle portion of the Sky Striker storyline, with each girl representing a different answer to the relationship between humanity, artificial intelligence and military technology.
Roze eventually breaks away from the role Spectra created for her. Her relationship with Raye changes from hostility to cooperation, and the two Sky Striker Aces ultimately fight alongside one another against threats manipulating the conflict around them.
Relationships
Relationships
Raye is Roze's designated opponent and the person whose combat performance motivates Spectra to create a human Sky Striker Ace of its own. Repeated encounters with Raye cause Roze to question her assigned role, and their rivalry ultimately develops into friendship and partnership.
Camellia and Azalea are connected to Spectra's later operations and become important to the conflict involving both Sky Striker Aces.
