Pon Torus

Pon receives limited characterization during his relatively brief appearance. Faced with a dangerous opponent during the Divine Visionary selection process, he demonstrates a strong concern for survival and quickly recognizes when he is badly outmatched.

Outside combat, one of the few established details about him is his academic interest in researching the relationship between magic and science. This suggests interests extending beyond the competitive pursuit of becoming a Divine Visionary, although the story does not explore his research in depth.

Pon is a double-line magic user, indicating magical reserves above those of an ordinary single-line mage. Reaching the Divine Visionary Candidate Selection Exam also establishes that he had obtained the necessary coins and qualifications to participate.

His personal magic is not properly demonstrated or named in the series. During the examination, he encounters an opponent whose unusual ability prevents Pon from displaying an extended arsenal.

No additional named spells are firmly established for him.

Pon participates in the Divine Visionary Candidate Selection Exam alongside several more prominent Easton students. During the Life Crystal round, he is placed on the Star Team with Margarette Macaron and Lance Crown.

He soon encounters Carpaccio Luo-Yang, whose unusual ability makes direct retaliation extraordinarily difficult. Pon's encounter provides Finn Ames with an early demonstration of just how dangerous Carpaccio is before Finn must face him himself.

Pon later appears among the many mages who rally behind Mash during the final confrontation with Innocent Zero.

Margarette Macaron and Lance Crown are Pon's teammates during the Life Crystal round of the Divine Visionary Candidate Selection Exam.

Carpaccio Luo-Yang is Pon's principal opponent in the examination and quickly overwhelms him.

Finn Ames witnesses the aftermath of Pon's confrontation with Carpaccio Luo-Yang.
