Osamu Rojihara

Osamu is serious, diligent and concerned with proper procedure. As secretary, he attempts to keep meetings focused and reacts when other participants behave in ways that disrupt council business.

His composure can nevertheless be broken. When Romin Kassidy participates in a student-council meeting largely because of the available food, Osamu attempts to object but becomes flustered when she appeals to him directly.

His reserved appearance also attracts unexpected attention from Rayne Nanahoshi, particularly when he removes his glasses.

Osamu has no established Deck, signature monster or completed on-screen Duel. His demonstrated abilities concern student-council administration rather than competitive Dueling.

As secretary, he assists Janko and Botan in organizing Goha 6th's student government and participating in meetings concerning school policy.

He also joins his fellow council members in events surrounding the Goha Rush Duel Team Battle Royal, although the anime does not establish an individual strategy for him.

Osamu appears as one of Janko's close student-council assistants during the Goha 6th Elementary storyline. Together with Botan, he supports the council while the school is divided over the arrival and acceptance of Rush Duels.

He later participates with the other council members in the Goha Rush Duel Team Battle Royal. Their team does not advance to the decisive stages, but the council members remain present for important matches involving the wider Rush Duel conflict.

Osamu returns when the student councils of Goha 6th and Goha 7th meet at an AI restaurant to discuss how to respond to the Goha siblings. The meeting quickly becomes chaotic because of the personalities and distractions surrounding both councils.

Janko Entant is the student-council president under whom Osamu serves as secretary. Osamu generally provides a more serious administrative presence beside Janko Entant's eccentric behavior.

Botan Kenzaki is the council's vice president and works closely with Osamu during school and tournament activities.

Romin Kassidy leaves Osamu visibly flustered when he attempts to prevent her from joining council business simply for the food.

Rayne Nanahoshi becomes attracted to Osamu after seeing him without his glasses, adding an unexpected romantic gag to his otherwise serious characterization.
