Momo Anigasaki

Momo's default personality is affectionate and sisterly, presenting the player with the dependable warmth associated with an older-sister character archetype. Unlike an ordinary person, however, her behavior is partly determined by the way her statistics are developed within Love Choriss.

Different players can therefore produce noticeably different versions of Momo. Shimura Shinpachi emphasizes her older-sister qualities, producing a version he considers ideal, while another player's choices demonstrate that the same heroine can be pushed toward very different behavior.

Shinpachi's attachment to her is played sincerely enough that he treats their virtual relationship as meaningful even while everyone around him recognizes the absurdity of the situation.

Momo is a virtual character rather than a conventional fighter. Her appearance, personality and behavior are generated through Love Choriss, with player choices affecting her attributes.

After players reach the appropriate level, their virtual girlfriends can manifest for other participants within the Love Choriss environment. This allows Momo to accompany Shinpachi visibly during the My Wife World Tournament.

Her effectiveness in the competition is consequently tied to Shinpachi's extensive investment in the game rather than supernatural powers existing outside its system.

Momo appears during the Love Choriss conflict after Shinpachi becomes absorbed in the dating simulation. Unlike Sakata Gintoki and Isao Kondou, whose experiences with the game become increasingly dysfunctional, Shinpachi carefully develops Momo into his ideal virtual girlfriend.

When the My Wife World Tournament begins, Shinpachi arrives with Momo and immediately presents himself as one of the strongest competitors. His devotion to the game has produced a particularly well-developed version of its older-sister heroine.

Momo consequently serves as the virtual partner through whom Shinpachi's formidable otaku dedication becomes an actual competitive advantage. The storyline uses his otherwise embarrassing obsession with fictional women as the very thing that makes him difficult for the other players to defeat.

Shimura Shinpachi selects Momo as his Love Choriss girlfriend and carefully develops her older-sister attributes. He treats their relationship with considerably more dedication than the other characters expect.

Sakata Gintoki encounters Momo as one of the virtual girlfriends competing in the My Wife World Tournament and must contend with Shimura Shinpachi's unexpectedly advanced game progress.

Isao Kondou participates in the same tournament and witnesses the strength of the virtual relationship Shimura Shinpachi has developed with Momo.
