Logue

Logue is a cheerful and loving child who is delighted to spend time with her father. She shows none of the fear that Bors's masked appearance might inspire in strangers because she knows him primarily as an affectionate parent.

Her characterization is deliberately simple and domestic. She has no connection to the political goals of the Jaegers and no involvement in her father's military assignments.

This innocence makes Bors's concern for his family understandable. His awareness that his past actions may eventually carry consequences stands in sharp contrast with Logue's ordinary affection for him.

Logue is an ordinary child with no established combat training, Teigu or supernatural abilities.

She does not participate in Imperial operations and is never presented as a fighter. Her role is entirely outside the military world inhabited by Bors and the Jaegers.

Logue appears through Bors's family life, particularly when his Jaeger comrades encounter the wife and daughter he frequently speaks about. Their happy relationship surprises people who know Bors primarily through his frightening appearance and combat role.

Her presence also gives additional weight to Bors's unease about his past. He recognizes that the atrocities committed by the Incineration Squad may someday return to affect the people he loves.

The manga later gives Logue and Kije a far darker role in Wild Hunt's storyline. Champ and Enshin attack Bors's family at his grave, sexually assaulting and murdering both mother and daughter. The anime does not adapt this event; Kije and Logue remain alive in that continuity.

Bors is Logue's father. He adores his daughter and speaks proudly about his family to his fellow Jaegers.

Kije is Logue's mother and raises her while Bors serves the Empire.

Wave meets Bors's family and is struck by the contrast between his intimidating teammate and the warm home life shared with Kije and Logue.

Champ and Enshin attack Logue and her mother in the manga, leading Wave to turn violently against Wild Hunt.
