Kyouko Sasagawa

Kyouko is gentle, friendly and remarkably accepting of the eccentric people around Tsuna. She rarely responds to unusual behavior with hostility and readily helps people who are nervous, isolated or struggling to fit into the group.

She is especially fond of sweets and becomes close to Haru Miura partly through their shared enthusiasm for cakes. Her warmth also extends to younger children such as Lambo and I-Pin.

Kyouko is not naturally confrontational, but she becomes more assertive when people she cares about conceal important information from her. Her patience does not mean she is willing to accept endless evasions.

Kyouko is an ordinary human without established Mafia combat training.

She does not possess a canonical Dying Will Flame in the main manga continuity and normally depends on Tsuna's group for protection when Mafia conflicts become violent.

Her practical strengths are emotional rather than supernatural. Kyouko is capable of maintaining calm domestic routines under difficult circumstances and helps provide a sense of ordinary life for the fighters around her.

Kyouko is introduced as Tsunayoshi Sawada's school crush. Many of Reborn's earliest interventions push Tsuna into embarrassing attempts to confess his feelings or impress her.

She gradually becomes acquainted with the strange group forming around Tsuna without initially understanding that many of them are professional criminals or Mafia fighters. Her brother Ryouhei's involvement gives her another connection to the group.

During the Future Arc, Kyouko and Haru are drawn much closer to the reality surrounding Tsuna. After repeatedly being kept uninformed, the two demand an explanation, and Tsuna finally tells them about the future conflict and the danger facing their friends.

Tsunayoshi Sawada has a long-standing crush on Kyouko and repeatedly tries to impress her. Kyouko regards him warmly and grows increasingly close to him.

Ryouhei Sasagawa is Kyouko's older brother. He is extremely protective of her, while she worries about his constant injuries from boxing.

Haru Miura becomes one of Kyouko's closest friends, particularly after the two begin spending more time around Tsuna's group.

Hana Kurokawa is one of Kyouko's closest school friends.

Chrome Dokuro receives Kyouko's kindness when she begins interacting more closely with Tsuna's companions.

Lambo and I-Pin are younger children Kyouko frequently looks after.
