Kumahachi

Kumahachi behaves aggressively when circumstances put him into conflict with humans, retaining enough of a genuine bear's dangerous nature to make an encounter with him frightening.

Like Nyonta and other animals in the series, however, Kumahachi can display exaggerated expressions and behavior that move beyond realistic animal characterization. His appearances shift freely between physical danger and comedy.

Kumahachi possesses the natural physical advantages of a large bear: considerable strength, size, claws and durability. Against an ordinary human, these characteristics make him genuinely dangerous.

Those abilities are far less impressive when Roboco is involved. Her absurd physical strength allows her to confront dangers that would normally require humans to flee, turning Kumahachi's intimidating presence into part of the joke.

Kumahachi appears in the series' mountain-centered material as one of the wild animals encountered outside the ordinary suburban setting.

He is associated with the encounter involving nature writer Gaku Serizawa, whose assumptions about OrderMaids are challenged after Roboco intervenes during a dangerous situation involving the bear.

Kumahachi continues to be recognizable enough among the series' animal characters to appear alongside Nyonta in material featuring Roboco's non-human companions.

Roboco encounters Kumahachi in the mountains and is physically capable of dealing with him despite his size and strength.

Gaku Serizawa encounters Kumahachi while living and working around the mountains, with the resulting danger bringing him into direct contact with Roboco.

Nyonta is another prominent animal associated with Roboco and appears alongside Kumahachi in group material featuring the series' animal cast.
