Jemima

Jemima is cheerful, affectionate and usually obedient. She enjoys games with her siblings and can occasionally become mischievous despite her generally serious demeanor.

She loves flowers and develops useful food-gathering skills after leaving Grace Field.

Jemima is young enough to be frightened by many of the group's dangers, but she continues moving with the others rather than allowing fear to immobilize her.

Jemima possesses no supernatural abilities. At Grace Field she participates in the same educational and physical routines as the other children.

After leaving the plantation, she learns practical survival skills. Yugo and Lucas teach the younger children how to gather food and contribute to maintaining the shelter while the older members are away.

Her endurance is significant for her age, as she survives journeys and living conditions far harsher than anything she experienced at Grace Field.

Jemima spends the opening arc as one of the younger children in Isabella's household. As the escape plan expands, Emma decides that children aged five and older will make the journey while the youngest remain behind temporarily.

Jemima therefore becomes one of the youngest children to escape Plant 3. Crossing the ravine terrifies her, but she manages the journey with help from Ray.

She later lives at Shelter B06-32 and other safe locations established by the escapees, contributing to daily work while the older children undertake more dangerous missions.

Alicia is one of Jemima's closest siblings, and the two are frequently seen together.

Emma includes Jemima among the children she intends to protect and ultimately takes her out of Grace Field.

Ray helps Jemima cross the ravine during the escape when fear makes the crossing difficult for her.

Yugo and Lucas help teach Jemima and the other younger escapees survival and food-gathering skills.

Isabella raises Jemima as her Mama before the escape.
