Ivlenkov

Ivlenkov is composed and professional. His limited appearances center on his responsibilities rather than his personal life, and he maintains a restrained demeanor while escorting Neon and representing the Nostrade family.

He is attentive to security and responds quickly when the Underground Auction turns violent. The manga gives him little dialogue, however, so a more detailed personality or personal motivation is not established.

Ivlenkov is sufficiently capable to serve in the Nostrade family's professional security detail during an event involving some of the world's most powerful Mafia organizations. The position implies significant combat competence.

During the attack on the Underground Auction, he reacts quickly enough to evade the initial barrage generated by Franklin Bordeau's Double Machine Gun and attempts to create an escape route.

Ivlenkov's Nen category and personal ability are never revealed in the manga. The 1999 anime gives him an additional Nen-related action during the auction attack, but this should not be treated as evidence of a canonical manga ability.

Ivlenkov appears when Neon's established bodyguards escort her after she arrives near Yorknew City. He works under Dalzollene, the leader of the Nostrade security detail.

Dalzollene assigns Ivlenkov, Baise and Shachmono Tocino to attend the Underground Auction as Nostrade representatives. They observe the assembled Mafia figures while waiting for the sale to begin.

The Phantom Troupe attacks instead of allowing the auction to proceed. Franklin fires into the crowd with Double Machine Gun; Ivlenkov avoids the initial fire and breaks toward an exit, but Shizuku intercepts him and kills him with Blinky. His death is later among those Kurapika cites while confronting Uvogin over the Troupe's indifference to its victims.

Neon Nostrade is Ivlenkov's client and the person his security team is employed to protect.

Dalzollene is Ivlenkov's superior within the Nostrade bodyguard detail.

Baise and Shachmono Tocino accompany Ivlenkov to the Underground Auction as Nostrade representatives.

Kurapika joins the same bodyguard organization shortly before the Yorknew crisis. Kurapika later invokes the murdered Nostrade guards while confronting Uvogin.

Franklin Bordeau and Shizuku Murasaki are the Phantom Troupe members directly involved in the attack that overwhelms Ivlenkov's group.
