Ippan Josei

Ippan Josei is kind, soft-spoken, patient, and remarkably forgiving given how frightened civilians treat her during the national crisis.

Her imposing appearance makes strangers assume she is dangerous even when she is simply trying to reach safety. Rather than responding violently, she becomes frightened and confused, making her rescue by Izuku especially important.

She develops immediate gratitude toward him because he asks what happened rather than judging her based on appearance.

Her later behavior at U.A. demonstrates considerable loyalty. After learning that the exhausted young hero seeking shelter there is the same person who once saved her, she pushes back against the frightened crowd and refuses to let society abandon him in return.

Ippan Josei possesses an unnamed Mutant-type Quirk that gives her a large, fox-like body with considerable height and nonhuman physical characteristics.

Izuku intervenes, protects her, and repairs the damage done to her belongings before helping her toward safety.

When she later reaches U.A., she reveals that multiple shelters had already rejected her because residents did not want heteromorphs inside.
