Futamichi no Master

Futamichi's master is easygoing, patient, and perceptive. He notices Denji's obvious interest in Reze and largely lets the teenagers talk without interfering.

He appears to care about Reze as an employee rather than treating her as disposable help. Her casual way of speaking around him suggests that they have an established and comfortable working relationship.

He is also considerate toward Denji. When Reze is absent, the café owner does not simply dismiss Denji and seems aware that the boy is waiting specifically for her.

Futamichi no Master is an ordinary human with no known Devil contract, supernatural ability, or combat training.

His established skill is running Café Futamichi, including preparing and serving food and drinks.

No canon material establishes any connection between him and Reze's espionage activities.

The café owner appears during Denji's growing relationship with Reze. Denji repeatedly visits Café Futamichi largely because Reze works there, and the quiet shop gives the two opportunities to spend time together.

He allows Reze to sit and talk with Denji during periods with few customers and becomes a background presence throughout their early courtship.

The 2025 Reze Arc film gives Futamichi no Master a speaking voice, with Kenichi Ono portraying him in Japanese and Gregory Lush in English.

After Reze's confrontation with Denji, the café becomes the place Denji chooses for a hoped-for reunion. He waits there with flowers, unaware of why Reze fails to arrive.

Reze works at Futamichi no Master's café. Their comfortable interactions suggest a familiar employer-employee relationship.
